I love how every time they perform on Immortal Song the crowd just gets more passionate, like, they made Immortal Song stage, their stage, now it's like a small Mamamoo concert!

this performance remains superior
A lot of non-Korean/super young fans won't really know this, quite a lot of certain moves in this dance were part of Hyun JinYoung's original moves. So overall, it was a massive tribute done super well, and the definition of an awesome trip down memory lane for a lot of the people in the audience because he was famous in the early nineties. If you look at a lot of the cuts of the audience, there are people who seem to be in their forties to even early fifties who are dancing along hard out - they would have been in their twenties to poss thirties when this song came out. I think it's so awesome that these older people who are socially expected to be 'mature' and 'reserved' let loose a little bit and went back to their youth.

**This is the kind of "stage" i missed in kpop performances.** It's not just choreography it's performing and really engaging with the audience. You can see how people are so hyped up and that shows how talented MAMAMOO are. Not just with vocals but the way they perform on stage. Like they are sincerely having fun and not just because it's part of the act or choreo. ♥♥ The last time i felt this was with 2NE1.
FACTS. That's part of the reason I only stan BTS and a few girl groups (mamamoo being one of them) because they're the only ones in my opinion that have this energy that are still currently active. I'm not hating on them as they're all extremely talented but take NCT as an example, I personally don't really like them because to me they're not really "performing" they're just singing and dancing the same way every time with little to no interaction/uniqueness each show. Which is valid as their choreos are extremely hard but its just not my taste.

BTS MAMAMOO and BTOB are legends I found out about them in 2016, and I was honestly disappointed because I wish I knew them earlier. I feel like being an international kpop fan, it's harder to find out about Mamamoo because they're not as hyped and promoted as other groups like twice, BP, RV etc, especially a couple of years ago. I'm glad they're getting more appreciated now because ugh they soo deserve it but they still deserve MORE. My two favorite groups now are BTS and Mamamoo and talent wise, Mamamoo should be on the same level of fame as bts imo but people are still sleeping on them 😩

Maybe I'm being too emotional but the looks on their faces after they finish got me thinking about how happy they must be. They started out as young trainees who love music and wanted to share that with the world. They got rejected from multiple companies before finally being put together under RBW and debuting as Mamamoo. Their music and skill went mostly overlooked until nearly TWO YEARS later, when people finally realized how much talent they have. I'm so proud of them as a fan who's been here since they've debuted, and I am so happy they got the recognition they deserve! We all love you girls!!

Just to be clear, while they may have been overlooked by the public early on, the professionals in the business recognized their talent immediately. That's why they were called "monster rookies", invited to come back on every show they appeared on, and generally had nice things said about them by every host and fellow musician they crossed paths with. I don't know of any other group that made as big a splash with other musicians as Mamamoo did.
i just came here from watching the Ateez stages and goddamn Mamamoo blows my mind with their vocal stability and their engagement with the audience. I would love to watch Ateez and Mamamoo go up against each other (not in a rival way but I just love both of their performance styles)

As much as i love the jype collab stage, nothing can top this performance as they were moving/dancing actively plus LIVE SINGING!! Also hyping up the crowd which speaks greatly of their stage expertise- if that's a thing lol. I just love mamamoo so much!

Again, I hope they never take these down. These babies are simmply the best girl group ever. And at my age I have seen a lot of them. And Wheein is spectacular. She can harmonise with any of the girls anytime. I have even seen her do it with our Monbyul. But when hwe and Hawasa sing together, there is simply magic!
Those who say that Mamamoo has easy choreography and that is why they could sing well live, should watch this. Like literally! They're doing such power pact cardio moves for the whole 5 minutes and were screaming, singing and hyping the crowd by shouting over their lungs while also enjoying the performance. They were not well synced but also very much stable and had power pact high notes and vocals. Still their performance was not only energetic but so perfect and makes you want to dance along them. That is the power of Mamamoo! If anyone still thinks that they have easy choreo, they should think twice if their favs could perform close to this energy while hitting those crazy high notes and still enjoying the performance.
they can also perform for almost 4 whole hours at their concerts. their endurance is crazy

Most idols doesnt have to sing as well as them and thats alright as long as theres a studio and dancing aint easy either. theyre trained to be so sync. Mamamoo can do both if they want to. They can prioritize singing and nail it, dancing and nail it, both and nail it. Natural born performers, all rounder talents, genuine ladies.

i’ve been watching this video for four years now and i only now realized it’s because it has everything i could ever want from MMM in one performance: a stage where every member is having a blast, exciting choreo, honouring music culture, meaningful audience engagement, wheesa harmonies, moonsun moments, and above all, outstanding vocals. when i first watched this video to now, all four of them have grown so much and have developed even stronger techniques - it’s almost unimaginable how much greater they’ll become in the future. will follow them until the end!
